Crafty daydreaming

This is what my workspace at my job looks like- oh so practical and boring! I arrived back yesterday and sat down and started organising my desk and I couldn't help but feel coldness being expressed from it's pores. Immediately my brain started ticking over -what can i make so that my space has some quirky homemadeness to it? I'm thinking that a coaster might be a nice starting point that way there will be no nasty stains on my dest from the copiousamount of tea I seem to consume at work. So here I sit at work daydreaming and doodling about potential projects. Perhaps. It's time to learn how to crochet and I camping granny squares to that boring empty space. Or perhaps a mini quilt wall hanging with some favourite fabrics. The possibilities call for some further daydreaming I think!
